Sew the Curve Kamloops
Our campaign is complete. Our 289 Sew the Curve Kamloops “seamsters” made and distributed 18,790 masks (and other protective equipment) free-of-charge to front-line workers, community service groups and vulnerable individuals in Kamloops & Area.
Together these sewists from Kamloops, Logan Lake, Pinatan Lake, Chase. Merritt, 100 Mile House and other nearby communities gave more than 10,000 hours and approximately $50,000 in materials.
More than 300 organizations and groups in Kamloops and Area have received the following items since the start of the campaign on March 23rd:
- 14,104 masks,
- 1,343 scrub caps,
- 1,225 scrub bags,
- 718 head bands (with buttons for masks)
- 1,400 ear savers
